In 2006, right after finishing my Zivildienst at a coffee farm on the Big Island of Hawaii, I moved to Berlin to study architecture. At the same time, together with friends I founded a coffee brand without Kolonialromantik - which was still ubiquitous back then. Instead, we used many bright colors and lots of white space. We were among the first in Germany to sell directly traded single origin coffee in a well designed packaging through our on- and offline shop, before, in 2012, we sold the brand to a small coffee roaster.
Following this, I finished the international graduate trainee program of Deutsche Telekom in 2015 and currently I am working as executive assistant for one of its board members in Bonn. My focus is on communications and PR.
I am also human, father and very passionate about beautiful maps, paper notebooks, storytelling and photography with a fixed lense. However, I don´t claim to be a great photographer - I take most of my pictures when I´m travelling.
